SANDBACH CC - 11 March 2024 Sandbach CC is seeking a grounds-person. The focus would be on the square/wicket preparation primarily and outfield maintenance, and to an extent co-ordinating our volunteers. We expect the role will be for 12-20hrs per week between March and September, with significantly less during the winter. This is a paid position with pay dependent on the applicant's experience. DAVENHAM CC - 31 Oct 2023 Davenham Cricket Club (DCC) is currently seeking a new head grounds-person for the next cricket season starting in 2024. This role will have overall responsibility for the maintenance and improvement of the cricket square and grounds, and for the preparation of pitches for all club fixtures and practice facilities. Interest is invited from individuals who are passionate and committed to the creation of cricket pitches and grounds. Ideally individuals will have experience of the delivery of pitches to the required standard for the Cheshire cricket league, however full training will be provided for those with less experience. HIGH LANE CC - 25 Nov 2021 We are seeking an experienced groundsperson to lead our team of volunteers following the retirement of our long-serving groundsman. The focus would be on square maintenance, wicket preparation and co-ordinating the volunteers to complete basic activities around mowing, rolling etc. The role would be for a minimum of 15 hour between March and September with a strong preference for someone local (within 10 miles) of High Lane.
