CCB Schools offer

In addition to the free coaching provided under the Chance to Shine scheme, Cheshire Cricket Board has the capacity to deliver additional ‘paid for' sessions in primary schools throughout Cheshire. The CCB Schools offer focuses on fun, inclusivity and improvement and provides further opportunities for teachers to enhance their understanding of the game.

Schools can book in confidence knowing all Cheshire Cricket Board staff are experienced and fully qualified coaches, with enhanced DBS checks, first aid and safeguarding qualifications. We regularly receive fantastic feedback from schools around the County, a selection of which can be found on our Testimonials Page.

A key feature of the CCB Schools offer is our link to the wider sporting community, with enthusiastic children signposted to local cricket clubs via free twilight and taster sessions. A summary of the services available to schools are listed below:

Morning Coaching - Two curriculum lessons 

Afternoon Coaching - Two curriculum lessons

Afternoon Coaching (ASC) - Two curriculum lessons plus After School Club

Full Day Coaching - Four curriculum lessons plus After School Club
