ECB through its County Boards provides a range of qualifications to develop skills and knowledge enabling those looking to take part in cricket as a coach or in a support role to deliver cricket in clubs, schools, and community settings.

BURSARIES
We have coach development bursaries available to help more people from under-represented groups take their first step into coaching, gain a qualification or take the next step on their coach development journey. If you are from one of the following groups you may be eligible for financial assistance:
- Potential coaches/coaches that are female
- Potential coaches/coaches from ethnically diverse communities
- Potential coaches/coaches with a disability
- Potential coaches/coaches experiencing financial hardship.

In addition to the above, affiliated Cheshire Clubs may apply for a refund of up to 50% of the total cost of an ECB Foundation Course or ECB Core Coach Course for their volunteers. Once a candidate has successfully completed the course and delivered a minimum of six sessions in a club coaching environment, clubs may email Coach Development Manager Graeme Rickman to request the refund.
