Four outstanding young leaders from Weaverham High School proudly represented Cheshire at this year’s Lord’s Taverners National Table Cricket Finals at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground.
After supporting local qualifying events across Cheshire, the group were selected for their maturity, confidence, and commitment to inclusive cricket — stepping up as umpires and scorers throughout the competition pathway.
At Lord’s, they showcased the very best of Weaverham High School: calm decision‑making, clear communication, and a genuine passion for helping young people with disabilities enjoy competitive cricket. Their journey from local events to the Home of Cricket is a remarkable achievement and a testament to their hard work and leadership.
We are incredibly proud of the role they played in making the finals a memorable experience for every team involved. They have set a brilliant example for future young leaders at Weaverham High School and across Cheshire.
