Leading the future of Women’s cricket

Network Live 2026: Leading the Future of Women’s Cricket, taking place on 7–8 March 2026 in Nottingham.

Delivered through the ECB’s partnership with Metro Bank, this national conference is designed to support coaches and leaders at every stage of their journey, offering practical development, reflection, and discussion focused on the women’s and girls’ game.

Day One – Leading Self and Leading Others

A focus on individual development: self‑awareness, confidence, communication, decision‑making, and working effectively within clubs and committees. The day also includes technical coaching workshops, long‑term athlete development, and sessions on creating inclusive environments for girls’ cricket.

Day Two – Leading Culture and Leading Change

A broader look at culture, systems and the future of the game, including navigating change, understanding barriers, supporting progression pathways, and maximising the opportunity of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup to strengthen club engagement.

The Olympic Gold Medallist Kate Richardson‑Walsh will close the event, sharing insights from her experience in world‑class teams.

Why your club should send a representative?
Strengthening the women’s and girls’ game in Cheshire relies on the people within our clubs who are willing to lead, influence and create welcoming environments for players. By sending a representative, your club will be investing in someone who can bring back fresh ideas, practical tools and renewed confidence to help drive meaningful, sustainable growth. This is an opportunity to ensure your club is actively shaping the future of the game in our county and building opportunities for the next generation of girls and women in cricket.
