Join the Young Cricket Collective

The future of cricket starts with young people – and we’re inviting Cheshire clubs to play a crucial role.

The Young Cricket Collective is a national programme for 14–18‑year‑olds who want to make a difference in their club and community. We’d love your support in encouraging your young players and volunteers to get involved.

By taking part, young people will:

  • Train as a Young Activator, Young Official, and Young Club Leader
  • Additional (optional) module in grounds management
  • Build confidence, leadership, and life skills
  • Receive unique kit, merchandise and certificates
  • Begin a journey that leads to qualifications and exciting opportunities.

Cheshire Cricket Board are running in‑person training sessions during the Easter holidays, with dates and venues listed below:

The cost of the programme is £30 per participant, which includes branded Cricket Collective clothing (tracksuit, bucket hat), in person training and a celebration event.

Together, we can support the next generation to create unforgettable moments, inspire others, and help cricket communities thrive.

For more information please contact your local Development and Coaching Officer or volunteer coordinator Ben Tomlinson.
