Cheshire Community Cricket Indoor League
Winter 2023/4 saw us launch our first Community Cricket Indoor league as part of our Community Development programme which is to provide opportunities for young people and adults in areas of deprivation to help access cricket and to also work closer with our South Asian communities.
As part of the Community Programme, working with communities across parts of Cheshire, we had teams from Warrington, Hyde, Macclesfield and Chester take part and form 12 teams, maximum amount allowable for the venue.
Fixtures were played fortnightly at Life Leisure Bramhall over two courts, allowing two matches to take place at the same time.
Over a period of 12 match weeks, teams split into 2 divisions midway, saw winners crowned for both divisions. This also included a finals cup day with every team competing for a trophy.
