More Teams, More Energy: our 2025/25 Community Indoor Cricket League
This year, we are excited to share that our indoor cricket league has grown!
After an amazing last couple seasons of 12 teams competing, we’ve now expanded to 18 teams this year, making this our biggest and most buzzing year so far.
The jump from 12 to 18 teams shows just how much love there is for cricket within communities in Cheshire. New teams have stepped forward, returning teams are more fired up than ever, and the atmosphere around the league has never been better. Its fast, fun, competitive and full of the unbeatable spirit that makes cricket within South Asian communities so special.
The league just isn’t about playing cricket, it’s a big part of our commitment to Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI). We want to make sure everyone has a fair chance to take part in sport, feel welcomed and feel represented.
This league allows players to connect, compete and enjoy the game and help break down barriers and makes cricket more accessible to all. Our focus on inclusion shapes how we run the league, support the players and how we build a positive, respectful environment for all.
Above all, this league is about community, celebrating culture, building friendships and enjoying cricket. Seeing more teams join the action this year shows how strong and connected our communities in Cheshire are becoming.
