Emerging Player Programme (EPP)
Sitting at the apex of the Cheshire Cricket Board Pathway is the Emerging Player Programme (EPP).
High performing County players and those identified with the potential to excel in the future (typically aged 13-16) are selected for the programme each year.

Players receive individualised training programmes which develop the technical and tactical aspects of their game while also benefiting from specialised psychology and physical programmes.
Supporting the EPP this winter are the Talent Pathway Performance Groups.
These groups are small and age specific.
In addition to those players who progress from the EPP into First Class Academies, the Emerging Player Programme continues to provide players for ECBs talent pathway and first class environments. Recent graduates and notable selections in 2024.
