Hybrid Pitches - Sale CC Seminar - 15 Aug
On Monday 15th August, Cheshire Association of Groundsmen (CAG) will be hosting a session with Sale CC groundsman Iain Harrop to discuss the successful installation and use of hybrid pitches at the club.
Hybrid Pitches are natural turf reinforced with nylon fibre – see the description on the CAG website under "Club Projects". Sale were the first club in the Cheshire League structure to install a hybrid pitch, with Didsbury CC following suit earlier this year.
All clubs are invited to send representatives to Sale next Monday (6pm start) to speak to Iain and raise any questions they may have. I’m sure this session will be of interest to all clubs with hybrid pitches becoming more popular around the country.
