Dynamos kick starts Junior Sections
During 2023, Cheshire Cricket Board has worked closely with Birkenhead St Marys CC to help kick start their Junior Cricket Section again. We have done this with support from the ECB and Sky Sports funded National Programmes Dynamos Intros Programme. We have made it possible for 24 children to start their cricket journey and help reignite the Clubs juniors. At the conclusion of the Dynamo sessions the group have continued the weekly session run by the Clubs Activator and Coaches, and have successfully played 3 friendlies against local Cricket Clubs U9s teams, including Oxton, Port Sunlight and most recently Upton CC (pictured), which has involved 13 of the new Dynamos.
