Super 1s at Chester BH presidents day
Sunday was Chester BH presidents day hosted by Di Totty (CBH president and CCB board member)
As part of the Super 1s Disability cricket programme CCB host and run competitions to give our participants the opportunity experience the social and competitive elements of playing against other Hubs from within Cheshire and surrounding counties. It was great that Lancashire and North Wales Hubs brought nine participants each to be involved in the day as well as 13 participants from Cheshire.
Every Hub played each other in a fun and relaxed environment supported by parents, guardians and club members watching on. A huge thanks to all involved and to Di Totty and Chester BH for helping putting on the day and providing medals and refreshments for the participants.
Feedback from a number of parents and Di as well:
Di Totty: 'Just wanted to thank you both for organising yesterday's disability festival to support my President's day. Everyone agreed it was a wonderful start to the day, comments like 'it filled my heart with joy' were in abundance and it has inspired some to want to get involved. All the players were well-behaved and had smiles on their faces throughout the morning. Their parents, guardians, carers were all very complimentary about the whole event.'
