CHESHIRE'S COACH EDUCATION PROGRAMME
ECB Coach UKCC2

The UKCC2 course is designed to enable the coach to work unsupported across a range of environments.
The course has been designed to help the coach to prepare, deliver, and review cricket coaching sessions.
The course will enable the coach to:
- introduce and develop the game of cricket to people of all ages in a safe and enjoyable way,
- develop fundamental movement skills,
- develop and improve players (as people as well as cricketers),
- develop coaching skills, knowledge and qualities,
- demonstrate competence against UKCC/National standards for coaches.
The Course goes into greater detail than the UKCC1 Course on 'HOW TO' coach, as well as looking in greater detail at the technical, tactical, physical, mental, and performance management of working with both individual and teams.
The Course equips the Coach to work safely and effectively in the net environment as well as building on the principles of group coaching.
The programme consists of eight three-hour modules with supported practice and an assessment.
